Our trip planning process has come to a close, making way for the first day of trip sales starting at noon on June 24 at the summer picnic for our ski trips to Steamboat, Breckenridge, Snowbird, Taos and Holiday Valley, and for the New York Wine Tour! Trip leaders will be on hand to give you all the details, answer your questions, and take sign-ups. Holiday Valley is in the early planning stage, but we will share details later in the month via our website and email blast. If you cannot attend the picnic, please send your deposit and completed trip application to the trip leader, postmarked by June 24 to be considered first-day sales in case the trip is oversold and a lottery is required. The Danube trip is already on sale and the trip leader will be taking deposits at the picnic as well. Please refer to articles in this newsletter for all the details; corresponding trip terms will be posted on our website at least a couple of weeks before the picnic.
You may have noticed the new look of the Club website. It’s not just a new appearance, but added functionally as well, which now allows visibility of all content on mobile devices. Thank you, Pam Neidig, for the countless hours you devoted to making this transition smooth, transparent, and with no downtime, and thank you Gary Smith, Marlin Hensel, and Len Neidig for your input and collaboration on this important project.
I look forward to seeing many of you this summer at some of the great outdoor events our Social Committee has planned such as the deck parties, bike rides, kayaking, hiking, an evening in the vineyards and so much more! Welcome Summer!
