Taos Ski Valley is a small and remote ski area compared to other major ski areas SSC is accustomed to visit, and is a powder lover’s paradise known for having light dry power and undetectable lift lines. Taos Ski Valley, located in the rugged Sangre de Cristo Mountains, is renowned for its expert terrain but also includes a tremendous number of beginner and intermediate runs. Off the ski slopes, enjoy tubing on Strawberry Hill; take a guided full moon snowshoe hike; race up a snowmobile trail; or kick back in a hot tub. Taos enjoys sunshine more than 285 days a year. Average Annual Snowfall in the Town of Taos is 35 inches and in Taos Ski Valley is 321 inches. Elevation in the Town of Taos is 6,967 feet and at the base of Taos Ski Valley it is 9,207 feet. This trip includes roundtrip airfare from BWI to Albuquerque, bus transportation to and from airports; a 5 of 6-day lift ticket, group porterage, welcome reception and the general manager will host a group welcome dinner. Experience ski-in/ski-out lodging at the Snakedance Condos and Spa. There is an on-site spa, fitness facility and guest lounge.
