TRIP SALES BEGIN MAY 7 AT "THE REVEAL"
2025 trip applications and deposits will be accepted at “The Reveal” at Boomerang's on Tuesday May 7, 2024 starting at 6 PM. Applications/deposits hand-delivered to the trip leader or sent via US mail with a postmark May 7-14, 2024 will have equivalent eligibility in the event that any trip is over-subscribed and a lottery becomes necessary. Your SSC membership must be current to sign up for a trip. Trip pricing, applications and trip terms will be available on this website and through your trip leaders very soon.

TRIP SIGNUP PROCEDURE FOR THE 2024-2025 SEASON

1. Your Membership must be current and up to date in accordance with the rules stated on the membership application. Failure to supply correct, complete and accurate information will make you ineligible for a trip lottery should the trip oversell.
2. All Trip applications and deposits will be accepted either by U.S. Mail or in person at the Reveal at Boomerang's on Tuesday, May 7, 2024.
3. All mailed applications and deposits must be post marked no earlier than Tuesday May 7, 2024. If your application and deposit are postmarked prior to May 7, you will be ineligible for a trip lottery should the trip oversell.
4. So, go to www.skissc.com and click on trips. Select the trip(s) of your choice.
   
5. Print out the trip terms and application. Complete and sign trip application in full. Please note, by signing the trip application you are acknowledging and will abide by all of the trip terms.
6. Make deposit check payable to “SSC” and mail completed trip application and deposit check to the trip leader.
7. This year the signups will be done through U.S. Mail and Tuesday, May 7, will be the start of the signup period for the 2025 ski trips. For lottery purposes, the initial signup will run through Tuesday, May 14, 2024. All trip lottery policies will apply. Your postmark will secure your eligibility in a trip lottery should a trip over-sell within the initial sign-up period. We will allow adequate time for mail-in applications to be delivered to the trip leaders and all lotteries will be held on or after May 18, 2024.
8. Your deposit is your vote to support your chosen trip(s) and trip leader(s).
9. We hope to once again have zoom meetings for all of our trips for potential trip participants to ask questions of the trip leaders. Watch for email blasts for links to the Zoom meetings.
   

PLEASE COMMIT EARLY TO AVOID THE CANCELLATION OF THESE TRIPS
The contracts we have this year are very stringent in their deadlines which requires us to have a certain number of participants by unusually early dates. If we must cancel a trip by the due date because of lack of participation, we are still responsible for paying cancellation fees to the hotel, tour operator or airlines. Please commit early, so your club does not have to absorb these fees and so these trips can proceed as planned.

TRAVEL INSURANCE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Attention trip participants, especially in light of recent unforeseen events, it is the responsibility of each participant to secure their own insurance based on their individual needs. If you have a pre-existing condition, most insurance companies require you to obtain insurance within two weeks from the date you made your trip deposit (this may vary among insurance companies).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THOSE ON THE IRELAND TRIP: ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorization System) UPDATE The initiation of the ETIAS has been postponed until January 2025. We will keep you updated if anything changes.

REAL ID IN PENNSYLVANIA The Real ID enforcement deadline has been extended until May 7, 2025. Beginning then, Pennsylvanians will need a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license, photo ID card, or another form of federally-acceptable identification (such as a valid passport or military ID) to board a domestic commercial flight.
