The Davos Klosters skiing and snowboarding area is one of the largest and highest in Switzerland, comprising six ski areas, five of which are covered by one regional ski pass. The five main ski areas are: Parsenn, Jakobshorn, Madrisa, Pischa and Rinerhorn. Parsenn and Jacobshorn are the largest, and can both be reached by ski lift in Davos. Rinerhorn, Pischa and Madrisa are all a short bus-ride or train-ride away. Davos has a base elevation of 5,110 feet, rises to a peak of 9,330 feet, has 57 lifts, 70 trails, and some of the longest runs in the Alps, we’re talking a whooping eight miles with a 6,673-foot vertical drop. The 186 miles of piste trails have something for every level of skier: beginner 23%, intermediate 52%, advanced 25%, as well as unlimited off-piste skiing and snowboarding terrain. The annual snowfall is 13 to 18 feet.
